One fic, two fic, old fic, new fic · 12:00pm Apr 30th, 2015
I feel as I should just put this out there, as some people are expressing frustration with lack of updates.
I write when I'm bored and feel like it. A lot of times I'm writing at work on the computer on slow days. Other times I spend my days catching up on a few fics that I enjoy reading. DnD also takes up a large chunk of my free time, sleeping maybe 6 hours an entire weekend to keep playing.
DnD became my new story telling, the drama and character development between my character and the characters of the other players far surpasses any fic I could ever write.
I know I have a lot of storied in progress, and I have about 5 times that on my computer that are only half thought out or outright abandoned. I write for my pleasure, to get my ideas out on paper. Have you noticed that the longer my fic is the lower the quality gets? That's why I prefer the one shots, a single chapter to get the idea out of my head in its full, untarnished version. Although some are too long for that lol.
Like the sequel to Sigma the Warlock. He's actually a summoner but w/e. It needed to be broken apart as it was too long, another update whenever I get around to editing it.
And that's another thing, everyone erupted in hatred when I had my OC Faina accompany Shining through the portal. He needed a partner and I was going to make up some Mary Sue to fill in the gap. She is my primary DnD character and her development had been ongoing for over a year. Honestly I was mad and it killed my enthusiasm for that fic.
Any other questions, please just ask.
Typo, "was not going to make a Mary Sue"
