Chapter XI Update, and Another Reason I am Just So Gosh Darn Happy! · 11:39pm Apr 26th, 2015
So, I've been working like crazy on chapter XI today with my editor (He's great! Go check out his stuff) and he has helped me iron out a few wrinkles and give this chapter more umph. That means, though, that there has been quite a bit of reworking done, but it should be done very soon and sent out to my prereaders very soon! Basically, you are getting what was supposed to be two chapters worth of material in one.
This one, just like all the others, has a lot of important things happening, but this time the amount has been doubled!
So, on to the other thing that has me so happy today...
Before going to bed last night, I checked AGOKAPPP. It had a 42:10 ratio. I wake up, and it is 43:9.
And you can't take away a thumb! Once you vote on something, you must always give it a thumb up or a thumb down (I don't know why, kind of wish that could be fixed), but that means that I somehow was able to win back a reader through my hard work!
You may not know this, but this is the second attempt at writing this story. Here is what happened after I uploaded my first attempt on this story on my own.
You see that?! So many downvotes! I don't blame them, the stuff was horrible and messy. I was really devastated that my first attempt at writing was received so negatively without getting any feedback. So after thinking it through, I decided to read a few books on writing, get some help, and try again.
So, I am very thankful to the person who decided to give my story a second chance. Whoever you are, thank you!
You may have also noticed that there is a long list of special thanks in the story description, well, all those people have contributed to the story in one way or another, be it critiques, pre-reading, or advice. They all helped me get this story to the quality that it is, and that quality will hopefully improve over time as well.
So, to everyone out there who is reading my stuff, thank you all so much!
Now, I'm going to have pancakes for dinner. Cuz I live by my own rules.
