Thank you everyone for voting, and thank you everyone who read Into the Clouds. Its been a nice little short break for Lightning and I, but its time to get back to writing. I'll be honest, we originally planned for the break to be longer, but we can't stay away from writing. Its just too fun.
Now lets get to the point. You guys want me to tell you which story won the voting, which I am about to do. Just stay patient and keep your pants on (I'm looking at you, Jimmy).
Back to School, the sequel to A Dazzling Reformation, won the voting with 15 votes. Now, that may not sound like much, but a lot of you were VERY enthusiastic about it. Oh, yeah, and A New World Awaits lost having only one vote.
So there you have it, We will have a sequel to A Dazzling Reformation! Which also means we need a cover art. If any of you are artists, or know an artist, please let me know. Lightning and I are looking for a bit of art with The Dazzlings at C.H.S. getting shunned and/or bullied by the students. If you can get us a picture like this we will be extremely thankful.
Just one more thing. I would like to welcome back, Cloudfilly. They have been unable to edit for a short while, but now they're back, and it couldn't of been better timing! We weren't expecting them back until May, but its a great surprise that they have already returned! Welcome back Cloudfilly!
Gotta be honest, I am eagerly anticipating the sequel from you guys. The characters were very well written in the last one, and their change in perspective is very believable given what we've seen of them in Rainbow Rocks and what has been written for them since. Plus seeing how the school reacts to these three returning will be interesting given how:
1) Sunset is dating the leader of this group, which will likely have some students more likely to trust the Dazzlings whereas others will think less of Sunset again and believing that she never reformed in the first place. (I could see Adagio standing up for her and calling the said students "ungrateful whelps" or some such comment to prove that she doesn't need their permission to do what she wants and that they should leave her alone...which would cue some adorable tsundere moment from Adagio when Sunset gets all doe-eyed at it.........
Why can I not be this creative when I want to try writing again?)
2) It won't be just a simple return to school and get-everyone-to-like-the-Dazzlingsfest and there will end up being some sort of pivotal plot point they need to work around...who knows?
My minor ranting aside, looking forward to what you guys have in store!
