Life update and stuffs... · 6:44pm Apr 15th, 2015

So, got into a house, kinda. A friend of ours invited us to stay at his house after his wife left him, and we took him up on the offer, but we have to finish the inside of half his house. So currently staying on a couch in the living room, or a cot in the garage. Closer to work, though.

Speaking of work, I'm already getting tired of this one... I'm getting paid straight salary, just a little over what I made when I was working around 30-35 hrs here, but now I'm working over 40 hours every week, and no overtime. Put in 87 hours 2 weeks ago. The shortest week I have had since salaried is 39.5. So I'm looking at different jobs, mainly going back to what I was looking into before my stay in jail, which would be something in the automotive industry. My first choice for that has to wait until I'm either done with probation or on non-reporting, which would be driving truck around the country.

Legal aspects... My lawyer is being a dick, and threatening to drop my case because I owe him $400 and he is tired of people not paying him. When you give an example of someone who hasn't paid since 2011 and look at my case, where I've paid $100 in 6 months, I don't think that's fair. I'm also being sued by the bank for the car I owned. Meanwhile, I am having vehicle issues come up that eats my money, and time. /endrant

I may be able to get a good truck, though, just gotta make the right offer... I'm already helping the guy fix up his shop.. If I can make it work, I would have a more reliable vehicle and can do more with it... I just need to get a day or two to rest so I can get some writing done. I'm missing it.
