Relatively, at least.

The job I did today sucked. But the feeling of telling your boss that you would be gone the following week, after just getting done with a 63 hour week? It's priceless.

I managed to get a construction job, starting at $14/hr, and working a bit of overtime.so, to begin with, I'll be making more money than I currently am, and I will actually get paid for my overtime, instead of it essentially being free labor.

And after dealing with a bad supervisor for the past 10 months, I'm ready for something new... Though the owner of the business is pissed at me for leaving now, even though I had a talk with him a month ago about the hours not being worth the money and that I was looking for a different job because of it. He didn't offer a raise or anything at the time, just tried getting me to stay on for a few months so they would have someone for the busy season. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be working 60-70+ hour weeks for the next 2-3 months to get $300 a week after taxes. That's below min wage pay, there. And there is a reason no one wants to stay working for the company, and that they go through someone in the position I have every year.

And the construction job is M-F, starts at 7am and have anywhere between 8-14 hour day. Two days of that and I'd be at my whole week at the job I'm leaving... That makes Racko happy. Racko needs to get happy, so he can get motivated to do anything.

So, as of next Thursday, I'll be working construction. And if this inventory job really pisses me off, I'm walking out before then. Which wouldn't surprise me because the boss is a bitch, and she is the main reason I have been trying to get a different job since April. Though I will try to get through next week so I will still have that extra paycheck. Tried working me dry and I will try to collect as much as I can..
