    Permanent Hiatus

Hey guys, bad news. My grandmother passed away at the age of 93. She was so important to me and meant everything to me. She was the one who pushed me forward in my writing and I just feel... empty now. Maybe it will pass, but I can't continue writing right now. I'm so sorry I couldn't finish Aria's adventures or even her first arc, but I just can't do it anymore. Sorry.

    Poll Question

Hey guys, I'm still working on Chapter 16, but I went back and read through where I've been to try to get over some writer's block. It worked, but I also realized there is a good spot where I can split the chapter into 2 15-20k chapters instead of 1 giant chapter. At this rate, the giant chapter will be ready next month (Probably early July) or I can split it and put out the first half after

    Update

Sorry again about the long hiatus. Working 3 jobs plus full time school has been killing me productivity wise. I am currently at Everfree Northwest and doing an FO:E panel with Somber, a comedy panel and a rock poetry panel with Ingrid Nilson. I should be able to finish and post the super long Chapter 16. Thanks again guys for understanding.

    When it rains it pours

I'm am the embodiment of bad luck. I am a journalism student and I wrote an article for a class about the new dinosaur exhibit at my local science museum. Through a series of events, I actually got a tour of the current (Now old) exhibit by the curator and a sneak preview/behind-the-scenes tour of the new exhibit before it was put on display. Seems like pretty good luck, right?

    Chapter 16 delayed

Due to some unforeseen circumstances (I.E. Ending up sick and in the hospital for almost a week), A Guardian's Tale is on hiatus until I can catch back up on life and school work. Sorry, but I hope you'll stick around and be ready when the next chapter comes out.

    Thanks guys,

Well, my professor thought it was too good to be true and assumed my article was a lie, slapping me with a zero and academic dishonesty charges were looming. I then spent an entire day getting the curator to contact him and getting all my proof together, then spent the entire night worrying about it before presenting my case and winning easily. I ended up getting the highest grade in the class.

But yeah, the past two days have been WAY TOO STRESSFUL for no good reason. Just thought I'd let y'all know a little craziness from my life that's delaying the next chapter.

Wow. Couldn't he have at least checked with the curator before just assuming something like that?

You should talk to the Dean about having your professor sacked for harassing a fucking student. Jumping straight to charges is an _attack_, a sane or reasonable person would have _requested proof_ as an opener.

Also, your professor is a festering cockbag. Destroy him with lasers.

Holy shit, you're studying Journalism? So am I, just started my first year a few weeks ago.

Your professor sounds like a Grade A dick though, I mean that. Wouldn't he at least contact the Curator (who's details you likely provided), and ask?

Yeah, well, as one of my friends who's a teacher in the Math department and another who's head of the Poli Sci department said, if he drops it, drop it because this won't get a tenured head of department fired and then you'll be on his shit list for your last two semesters. He apologized, which one girl in the class said she's never seen him do, and explained he was stressed after having to drive up to Ohio and back over the weekend and then catching another student lying and making up her article just before getting to mine, which was the last one in the pile. :( It's messed up he accused me and threatened to expel me, but he apologized so whatever.
