So I know most of you who follow me do so thanks to my story "Stroke of a Digital Brush." While yes, I'm grateful for this, I have another kind of story picking at my brain, but I'm having trouble figuring out how I want it to go. What I need most though, is fifteen character "pairs" that work in a Thesis and Anti-thesis pairing. While I already have some for Mane 6 and Princesses (you know, the obvious ones) I'd like to hear what you guys all think would be a good rivalry pairing. I won't think any ideas submitted either here on this blog or by PM straight to me are stupid in the slightest, but I would still like at least some reason that the two characters act as the anti-thesis to each other. It would really help with writing this idea down enough that I could possibly make a story out of it.
In short, send in rivalries of any pair you can think of and a reason for the rivalry, and I'll do what I do and see if they'll hold water.

2900000 I got the Chrysalis and Cadence pairing, and I was actually trying to avoid having Diamond in this.... but that's actually a better idea than what I originally had written down. It was originally going to be Babs, but DT works even better for the role.

Gilda and Fluttershy. I don't think it needs to be spelt out.
Trixie and Big Mac. A unicorn that refers to herself in the third person, loves to here her own voice, and uses magic for the most mundane tasks, in a relationship with an earth pony who barely talks at all, and is very down to earth.
