Now for some S5 stuff.

I hear that the third episode is going to be about trying to make the crystal castle feel more like home to Twi. I wonder if that's going to be the one we were promised about mourning the library? It certainly seems pretty likely, but I've got a feeling that says not to go all-in on this theory.

But if you've watched the recent AJ promo, you may have noticed a brief clip of her spreading soil inside the castle, presumably as part of an effort to make the castle more homey. Are we going to get an episode where Twi's friends try to set up her home like they like, with no regard for what will feel like home to her, until the final epiphany? I hate to say it, but I'm not exactly enthused. I hate going into an episode pre-disappointed; if you expect a flaw going in, it will pretty much always be present in your eyes. Plus I can never stand the doomsayers who go off about how terrible everything's going to be on the flimsiest of evidence, and I'm too self-aware to happily tolerate such hypocrisy. Maybe if I keep reminding myself that "Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3" also followed this general formula, and was an excellent episode that single-hoofedly renewed my love of Rainbow Sparkle, I can go in with an open mind by a month from now when "Castle Sweet Castle" airs. I pray to the Sisters that it works.
