I think I've figured out a deeper reason to why I like crying so much. Crying is a way for a person to reveal their innermost pain. Through crying, they show that they're hurting and in need of comfort. One, especially a villain, will likely build up walls out of pride and shame for their emotions. The stronger one seems in tempering their sorrow, the thicker their wall is. If the right tool and amount of pressure and force are used, the wall will come crashing down and their emotions with it.
Eesh, I'm talking on again! I really need to stop that.
As I was saying, to see the mighty folks break down and confess their hurt is a big deal to me. Thankfully, it's only restricted to cartoons and fictional works. My heart actually wrenches when I see an actual person crying.
It takes a great deal and effort for those who are strong to keep their emotions in check and not betray themselves. However, their most vulnerable moment is what makes them human and relatable. It's also enjoyable on some occasions. I know, guilty as charged.
Villains are not immune to my interest in crying, and though I have seen some break down, it's the rarer instances with the stronger folks that catches my interest.
