    Soon...

    I'm... Not... Dead... Yet
I'm still around. But it's just me now. I'm all alone in the hell called Solo Writer... And I have no plans to die yet.

Just a little longer, and you'll see... An update for one of my stories...
    I promise...

    All Projects Hold!

Big things are happening in our group. Not all of them good... In fact, most are bad. We aren't dealing with it the best we can, and this has greatly delegated our attention to not properly delegating our attentions.

    That Makes Two!

So, we managed to get a second blog up this time on time(for the most part) and we have a lot to load into this one, so bear with us.
First off! We have three complaints about the progression rates of our stories.

Sorry, we goofed again...twice... · 3:09am Feb 23rd, 2015

This time, there is no excuse... We just fell out of the routine and forgot. But we're thinking about switching the blog days to Saturday instead. Friday is kinda hard for our Site Moderator Component. They do a lot on Fridays to start up for the weekend where a bulk of their errands take place... So, Saturday around this time, you should probably start expecting the new blogs... usually...
Aside from that, we're making progress on our story, Breaking Standards, and if you have seen the progress meter on our Profile Page, you'll note that we have a scheduled release date.
Please note! The release date is only there because we're practically finished with the chapter; only the final edits need to be completed. The meat and potatoes, as well as the garnish, is all there, we just have to bring it to the table! If you ever see a release date on anything, that's due to how close to 100% finished it is.
And now, for your Weekly(mostly) Random! So I was playing Sniper Elite 2 the other day, and there was a perfect shot that I needed to take. There was an enemy soldier, a grenade hanging just above his groin, standing in a group with about four others. I shot the grenade and took them all out...
...Talk about blowing a load.
On a more serious note, History is repeating itself. About thirty years ago, the videogame industry was on the path to rockbottom. Major Developers wanted a piece of the VideoGame Craze and overloaded and destroyed the markets with games that were hastily coded, consoles that were shoddily fabricated, and adverts that were, forgive the crass delivery, half-assed.
Sound familiar? It should. Microsoft and Sony are doing the very thing with both the Xbox One and PS4. I used to love Xbox and enjoyed the occasional PS romp with friends and family. It was all about Halo, Gears of War, Last of Us, Crisys, FEAR, Call of Duty, Max Payne, and Little Big Planet... But now these franchises are slowly dying (LBP aside).
PSN and Microsoft are just money hungry now, strangling the quality of games that us gamers are upset with. And who should be the one actually making money now? Releasing games that are actually being looked forward to? Topping the charts for the first time in ten years?
Good ol' Nintendo. Thirty Years ago, the Golden Era of Modern Video Games was started with the birth of the Nintendo Entertainment System. In the year 2012, Nintendo released the Wii U. At first, just like thirty years ago, people didn't really expect much. Avoided it for the most part because of the less flashy nature and intended, wide demographic appeal.
Now, people moved to Wii (or PC) and almost doubled the fanbase as of 2014. Now, I'll be the first to admit that I was one of those who disliked the Wii because of its less... mature... age appeal. Disliked it because the characters weren't as "badass" or "toughened". Disliked the over-all kooky and cartoon-y styles usually attributed to their games.
But now? Their stories are better constructed. The system was more convenient. And best of, you can play all the old favorites from thirty years ago! That's right, on the Nintendo market, you can repurchase your childhood favorites (if you knew them) for as little as a dollar!
Nintendo will probably remind Microsoft and Sony how to do it right... Just give it a few years.
And that concluded this random rant... See you all next time!

[Still Censored, becuase it's not appropriate for your innocent eyes and brains :trollestia:]
