That Makes Two! · 6:34am Mar 15th, 2015
So, we managed to get a second blog up this time on time(for the most part) and we have a lot to load into this one, so bear with us.
First off! We have three complaints about the progression rates of our stories.
We apologize, sincerely, but it is simply not within our power to maintain a consistant update schedule. We explained in an earlier blog that we would never promise a due date(however, in another blog, we also declared that we will notify you of an imminant release and provide an approximated release date of the chapter to the story in discussion.) and, instead, gave you all the alternative to follow a progress meter on our Profile Page.
That is updated semi-regularly, keeping you as updated as possible on our progress. It's a bit of slow going, but rest assured, the updates are still coming(giggity).
Now, concerning another issue that we recently received. We know people want to express their knowledge and have a need to assist us whenever a mistake seems apparant. Please, we ask that you thoroughly confirm that we've made a mistake before calling us out on what you perceive was an error.
In our story, Breaking Standards, there is a scene of chemical mixing for a medicine. Now, I admit to not knowing much in the medical field, especially pharmaceuticals, so it's great luck that our writer for said story is a Chemist!
A reader thought that the chemicals and methods used were severely wrong, and implied that we were being highly pompous. This was not our intent. The writer has explained themselves, but we won't be publishing that here. Just go check the story's comment section. They clearly explained that, what the reader claimed us ignorant about, was, in fact, the correct and truthful use of chemical applications.
Understand that we do not write to uplift ourselves. We write for pleasure and your enjoyment! That means making sure that the largest amount of people can read our works comfortably. Had the writer gone with lingo and chemical substances and processes that the general public were not familiar with, it would have upset many people. It's happened to us before.
Futhermore, we received an interesting inquiry about Flying Through a Hole. It was asked about how we planned to progress with the story due to certain developments and resolutions. We are, in fact, not planning anything!
We are writing without plans, giving you the raw development of the story as it's written. We are experiancing the story at the same pace as you are! Albeit, ahead of you all as we are writing it.
That just about sums it up for now. Sorry that we didn't provide a bit random for you all, but sometimes, the steak needs to be served with pudding, in order to not upset the pineapple's date with the Cumulo Nimbus.
Bye-bye! See you all laters!
