Next Chapter and New Story Idea

Hello again. I'm still in the process of typing up the next chapter of A Cog in the Machine, but don't expect it to come out as quickly as the other chapters have been coming out. I've been pushing out a 10,000 word plus chapter every Monday for the last three weeks straight now! I started typing up the next one and discovered that I lacked the focus to implement a cool thing I was planning for the chapter. So I think a couple day break would do me good; don't want to turn this into a drag after all!
In the mean time though, something has popped into my head that I'm interested in trying as a side project to work on when burned out on Cogwill. I have a new story idea, involving Rarity and Scootaloo, that I wish to try, but am unsure if I should play it straight up or as a lighthearted adventure with some comedy. I'm unsure how funny A Cog in the Machine actually is (I know its kinda depressing and dark in some places) so I'd like to hear some feedback from those watching me! Is my writing dry or have you actually chuckled a few times during it? Also, share your favorite bits if it did make you laugh! Thank you for your time~

Please take as much time to write down the next chapter as you need. It's not about speed, it's about quality.
I must say that i'm quite excited about the new story, and also seeing that you're gonna write it between A Cog in the Machine
is brilliant.
oh, and a part where i laughed is when Nathan/cog/cogwill blew up trixie's stage and said "suck on it trixie, suck on it!"
