So, hey, I've got a new story for your reading pleasure! Well, the first chapter of a story, anyway.
In my tradition of taking a fun one-shot and turning into a bloated, overwrought mess, I've decided to go ahead and start on my idea for a sequel to "An Outsider's Perspective." It'll probably run for around five chapters. No idea what kind of pace I'll set for them, but I've been in the mood to write, so hey, maybe it'll happen sooner rather than later. Or maybe I'll get to the penultimate chapter, disappear for two years, and then come back out of nowhere to wrap it up. (Or just leave it unfinished with a long author's note describing what I had planned.)
This is me trying to keep expectations low, by the way. Though it might be bordering on self-flagellation.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the first chapter! You might want to glance at "Outsider" for a refresher on the first couple of sections, since those happen parallel with Clip's story, just from the Crusaders' point of view. And, of course, feel free to point out typos and such that I've missed.
