I'm thrilled and honored and all-around just kinda happy to report that my submission to EQD's "Outside Insight" contest placed sixth, out of 109 entrants! I've returned from seeing Equestria Girls, and I have written a review.

In short? It was actually pretty good. I know, right? I went in fully expecting it to suck. I really, truly did. It might not appeal to a non-bronies (or non-kids), though; half the fun for me was spotting all the little continuity gags and nods to the fandom.

Hey, folks, just checking in to plug my buddies (and, I guess, myself) over at the Brony Bookclub.

I got to record another episode with Roy and Sam--this time as a proper co-host instead of a guest! Except that thanks to a communication failure, we didn't have a guest. So instead we just talked about Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and various 'fics and other things related to them. Fun stuff, as usual; hanging out with them and rambling about ponies is always a good time.
