But here it is anyway. I've been thinking of a Destiny crossover and Metal Gear Solid crossover. I've started on one but not sure about it and don't know about the other. Here's a prelude to the Destiny one.

Prologue

The Darkness
Pure, merciless and unhinged evil. It will grab you, eat you, chew you up and spit you back out a mangled indistinguishable corpse of your former self. That’s what happens to those who underestimate its power. This Darkness almost completely destroyed humanity, cutting a vicious swath of evil, leaving nothing but death, defeat and utter destruction in its wake.
Humanity explored the stars, looking for new homes for its people. Mercury, Venus, Mars even the Moon itself were colonized and made so it could flourish and multiply. The Traveler helped Humanity make the stars their new home. For a while, it was peaceful. Humanity grew and grew with each passing year. Soon, entire quarters of planets were colonized.
But then… they came.
The Vex: emotionless, robotic killers who slaughtered anyone in their endless march of destruction. The Cabal: 8 foot, 400+ pound monsters who crushed all in their path. The Fallen: Four-armed scavengers with a knack for stealing, and killing, without asking. And The Hive: A race of beings knowing only destruction and conquest, with looks like spawns from hell itself.
The Vex took Mars and Mercury and Venus within months, the other races doing the same with other planets across the system. The Vex and Cabal battle for dominion over Mars. The Fallen battle the Vex for Venus. The Hive go toe-to-toe with the Fallen for control of the Moon and Humanity and The Fallen fight for control of Earth itself, along for the rest of the system.
Humanity was left scarred and frightened. It brought an end to humanity’s Golden Age. This was The Collapse. Humanity’s fall from grace. But then the Traveler gave humanity new power that makes a chosen few walk the finest line dividing God and man. These are the ones who do what the weak and defenseless cannot, who protect Humanity when Humanity cannot protect itself. Whether it be golden Gunslingers, magical Voidwalkers, titanic Strikers, fiery Sunsingers, acrobatic Bladedancers or stalwart Defenders. It doesn’t matter, they will protect what they have, and will do so until their dying breath. They are…

Very nice descriptive language for describing the Guardians of the City, its rather fitting with Destiny's "mythic" science fiction/science fantasy nature. I hope this crossover ends up being made.
As for Metal Gear, I know only a tiny bit about that series and its universe, but I'm sure you could pull it off.
