Ok here is another story idea

A group of child soldiers in a future Earth where the world is at war the soldiers are replaced by super-soldier-like kids, making them fight the adults battles (they usually take kids 10-13 years of age and then administer a serum that ages their body to cope with the stress of their super-soldier training, but not their mind.). one group (usually around six), Sentinel squad led by Cmdr. Marcus Hawthorne is sent to investigate a temporal disturbance and inadvertently gets sent to Equestria where in the future, a power-hungry Unicorn, Black Nexus(He believes that Unicorns should rule the land, and is willing to eliminate ANYONE who gets in his way) forms a small kingdom and shows Celestia and Luna that he wants the throne. Then heroic stuff happens and the story is about the squad's campaign against Nexus.

First it was simple hit-and-run attacks on certain towns on the southern borders of the kingdom, then he takes Shining Armor's and Princess Cadance's daughters hostage and threatens to execute them unless Cadance relinquishes the Crystal Empire to him with no exceptions. This is where Sentinel comes in. Sentnel is know for being the most combat effective team ever and is comprised the best super soldiers straight out of basic training.

There are six "kids" in the squad,

Cameron "Greyhound" Smith (Think Mike Haggar from Final Fight), second-in-command and very stubborn and hot-headed when angered, 6'3 and 283 lbs. his specialty is mowing people down with his brutes strength and take a ton of punishment with his specially designed armor and is fluent in over 56 martial arts forms.

Michael "Motorhead" Marella, 5'8 and 232 lbs. his ability is super speed( Think The Flash) with a special made suit that enhances his speed by taking the cells in his body and boosting them to the point where he can run like another person and then switch to his super speed on command, he's able to hit with the strength of a good right hook, with the speed of a bullet train. He's the most comedic of the squad and breaks the 4th wall like Pinkie, A LOT.

Aaron "Maverick" Phoenix, 6'0 and 255 lbs. he's the aerial combatant of the team, with his own flight suit (Think the Falcon) capable of speeds over Mach 5(in the future, they've developed a serum which hardens the human molecular structure to counter-act the pressure of wind thrashing against his body). His weapons of choice are two plasma basters/rocket engines which he can set from laser, booster, Cocky and never thinking ahead, Phoenix believes he's the best man on the team and butts heads with the others one way or another, mostly Solidus. .

Leonard "Python" Robinson, 6'1 and 243 lbs. he is a master of stealth and backs it up with a special camouflage suit that blends into any environment (Think Solid Snake) and is the only person on the team to face Hawthorne in a boxing match and almost won. Leo is mostly quiet and has an unfortunate drawback of being the most pacifistic kid on the team.

Hunter "Crosshairs" Grayson, 5'9 and 250 lbs. he is an expert marksman and never misses his shot. With extensive training with bows, firearms, swords and knives, he was inducted into Sentinel squad. He has mastered all weapons but has his favorites, which comprise of a compound bow, twin Spec Ops .45 pistols and two katanas. Hunter is the more tactical, strategic member of the team, is very affluent in every language and is a BIG techno guru.

Marcus "Sentinel" Hawthorne, 6'6 and 275 lbs. he is the leader and never leaves his "men" behind(Think Captain America combined with Batman). Designed to be the ultimate soldier, he is the strongest, fastest and most agile person on the team with a super-suit to match. His weapons of choice is his own fists, but when things get hairy, he has a shield comprised of a previously unknown element, that can bounce off of anything and bounces right back to him no matter where he throws it. (In the future, miners discover a new element that when superheated, it can be molded into any shape and cooled down, solid, is indestructible.)
