Okay, I'm officially excited about Season 5. Seriously so. CMC-Scootaloo on DeviantArt has a detailed and clear screen capture of the map, along with interpretations of what we might be seeing here.
For the reasons stated there, and for that castle with the flying bridges, I'm about 100% certain that continent to the east is the Griffon Lands. Lots of mountains, and a really fascinating sort of lake that cascades in waterfalls from one level to the next. I've seen that before in Pony art, and I can't think where. Perhaps in the comic books.
On the northern part of the continent are giant mushrooms. Who do we know from G1 that lived in a forest of giant mushrooms? That Rainbow of Light at the finale of S4 had to come from somewhere. 
I can't even begin to imagine what a G4 Moochick would be like... but people keep on agitating for the Smooze to return, so why not? :P
2793596 The Moochick had kind of a smart-assed nonspeaking rabbit companion too, who would be fascinating to pair in a story with Angel Bunny. I wasn't aware that there was much enthusiasm for the Smooze, but I can see it working in a G4 story. It started out as a weapon of the Witches, who were really more disgusting and incompetent than villainous, which is why it became such a mess. Personally I'd like to see the Grundles ("Alas! Grundle Land!"), from that same episode, return.
2794216 I think the enthusiasm for the Smooze is largely because of the song, which (like the seaponies song) has become a minor meme in the brony community.
