Ponykind has lived in a society melded around its monarchy's divinity. That image begins to unravel as a stallion unwittingly stumbles upon living proof of a long forgotten legend that may bring the monarchy crashing down.

    Sam Harris on Hillary losing.

I know a lot of people had their minds made up when it came to who was to blame for the DNC's stunning loss last year. Many people felt as though Bernie Sanders had been fed a raw deal, that had he been nominated he would have made the presidency with ease.

I tend to reserve judgement on that and defer to what to one of the most prominent free-thinkers of our time has to say...

    Signing off the Elections

Despite the nation feeling divided at this crucial time. Perhaps this will clear some minds in a way that I couldn't properly say as an outsider.

    Stay hopeful, America

US Elections: Time to move forward.

Its a little chaotic in the States right now and to all my American readers I would like to offer you my condolences, regardless of who you chose. Lets face it, neither Clinton or Trump were sterling choices yet nonetheless I'm shocked that such a man could take control of the highest office in the world. I fear that he will most likely backtrack a lot of progressive accomplishments that are good

Only The Shy Type, Luna Eclipse, and a few other things.

    I ain't dead yet!

So with what I could describe as a break from ponies finally over I can breath a bit more life back into my stories and, of course, give my followers a reason to keep following me. Which interestingly enough grows despite my inactivity.

Known Gods: Production Break · 12:40am Feb 12th, 2015

Production break? I suppose that's a kind way of putting it.

I've put a lot of work into deciding which direction I want to take it in and ended up stuck. Call it a writers block if you will.

Although not even that is the full reason. Mainly I've been discouraged by it's low viewership. So in sense I suppose this begs the reason as to why I wrote the story. Mainly I was hoping for it to do splendidly, which is everyone's dream. But I felt as though It wasn't up to the standards that I expected from it.

After rereading it I felt it needed quite a bit if work so I suppose its low viewership was my own fault. I also rushed it out before it was even ready, posting way too many chapters way to quickly.

I'm not stopping it, per se, I'm just unsure as to when I'll be confident or even motivated enough to work on it again. I'm not truly in the best state of mind (I won't get into the gory details) and my inability to get it going isn't helping the situation.

That being said. I've decided to focus on a new story with a more manageable plot with better flow. This story (I hope) will be more popularized. I've planned it better and I've worked out the plot from beginning to end. I daresay that Known Gods was a learning curve. An opportunity to understand the minutia of this site and cater to the desires of its audience.

To all those who loved and enjoyed my story I sincerely appreciate your support and feedback. This is not a goodbye, merely an extended break.

 We all have hopes of getting a story up to a thousand views and such, sure, but isn't it the heart that counts in the first place? (My attempt at being a creative comment, woo)

2789062 Of course you're right. And maybe that was my initial intention. Perhaps I simply lost the excitement of it. perhaps I simply lost sight of why I even wrote it. The folly was mine. I can't really take back how its made me feel about it.

2789081 Hey, you do your best and you learn from any mistakes, right?

Thats a shame. Have you tried giving your story to a review group it may help with some publicity.

2789062 I guess we shall see

2789104 I do have a proof reader that has been quite meticulous in his efforts to check grammar and flow. However, I think the best remedy is a break for now. I lack the motivation at the present moment.

Don't make me drive down to Durban!

I joke.

I ran into a similar block with my own story, and you know how that ended...
