Alright, it's almost one a.m., lets get this over with.
First off, after almost a year of inactivity, I'm back to writing. University's been a hassle, making me read and write notes every day, and finding a job's also been taking most of my time. But hopefully, that will change for the better.
On a brighter note, I've started working on the fourteenth chapter for The Winds of Redemption. It's only at over a thousand words, but already, the ponies are seeing some action. I don't know when I'll be able to finish it, but know that I'll get it done.
For those who were too lazy to reread the chapters to find out what changes I've made, here's some of the more important ones:
-I've removed the timberwolf's fuel cell. After Sam kills it, he pulls it out and shreds it to pieces with his sword to fully recharge. This was because the fuel cell seemed more like a pointless load than a plot device than I thought it would be (I thought about making Twilight study it and come up with a similar power source for Sam but then I realized: the fuel cell has MOLTEN CARBON. I imagined that would be too hot to keep it in the open for a long time).
-Sam's age. I've changed it from forty to thirty, then later thirty-four. I checked the wiki, and I noticed that for the casting call for the game, the team wanted a man in his twenties. I figured that would be too young for Sam, so I wanted him at an age that while old, still had him in his prime, so I changed it to thirty. THEN, I checked the game and Sam's chronology, and that one tidbit where Sam killed 10 armed goons with his sword? That took place in 2005, THIRTEEN YEARS before MGR takes place. So, now, it's at thirty-four. It's almost unbelievable for me that a man in his early twenties could take on that many, but after realizing what Raiden went through and did in the game, it's not much.
Okay, that's all I can think off. If lucky, I'll get the next chapter out by the end of the month. Hope people are still looking forward to it!
