Durarara!!
Created by Ryohgo Narita, Art by Akiyo Satorigi
Part of a multimedia invasion by the Anime and novel of the same name, Durarara is
the perfect invitation to dive into an adventure in the Ikebukuro district of Tokyo.
Following the ordinary life of Mikado Ryuugamine, you can see all sorts of wild
characters, distinctively designed by Suzuhito Yasuda, including a shady underground
doctor, a sinister info broker and even the infamous Black Rider.
The plot is extremely character driven and in short time you find yourself immersed in this stunning take of Ikebukuro. The art style matches perfectly with every character being completely unique, with a style that puts the distinct detail in its characters.
Without giving too much away, the first volume introduces our young Mikado, fresh from a small country town, to the bustling streets of Ikebukuro where he is guided by his friend Masaomi Kida. With the district already bustling with rumours of the mysterious Dollars, Mikado comes face to face with an urban legend.
