ONAS Update: Chapter 15, and Future Chapter Ideas · 6:36pm Jan 18th, 2015
Hey guys, here's a little update on Of Night and Stone for the weekend. First of all, I am finished with chapter 15! I'm just waiting for my prereaders to help me with it. Now you'll finally get to see what happens to Maud's conundrum of being a gargoyle.
Secondly, after this chapter I have been wondering where to go. There are certain events that I have planned for the story in the future, and while I'd love to go about doing them, there are some other things I'd like to take into consideration. One idea I'd had, the chapter where Maud introduces Brooklyn to the rest of her family (her sisters, father, and mother) I would go about doing instantly, but the only problem is that in the upcoming season 5 of MLP we will allegedly be getting an episode where we meet the rest of the Pie family. Now I don't want to release my chapter before the episode airs for the obvious reason that I may accidentally portray the Pie family wrong to how they are in canon. At the same time, however, I have absolutely no idea when the episode with the Pie family will be airing, and I wouldn't want to simply wait several more weeks and not write anything until that point. So my question for that is, do you guys mind my the chapter potentially contradicting the canon, or do you think I should wait and try other chapter ideas first?
The other ideas I'd had included the big introductory chapter, where the city is attacked and the gargoyles help fight them off, introducing them to the town. Another idea I'd had that I'm also very unsure about is a chapter where Maud goes into heat, and Brooklyn either has to stall her/keep as far away as possible, or give in. The question about that one is, though the idea is going into clop territory, I only plan on it still being "teen." Now my question is, should I create a new fic for that spinoff? Or should that be a part of ONAS?
