Well Bronycon 2012 was a major bust. I don't really feel like complaining or boring any of you with details. So the following pic of Applejack sums up my reaction to spending most of my time waiting in line out in the heat for autograph vouchers.
On one note at least I was able to meet Nicole Oliver (voice of Celestia) and chat with her for a little bit, and got a nice autographed photo! Other than that I stand by the above photo. I'm glad by comments on the Bronycon 2012 homepage that some bronies had fun there.
On sunnier fronts, I'm happy to announce that I've got some great new ideas on how to finish Chapter 1 of "Anything for Lady Rarity". And I should soon be back on board with "A Total Eclipse of Their Hearts". Alas the weekend may not have gone as planned...but there is a new week upon us. I will press onward! Have no fear!

And it was fun meeting Nicole Oliver. Of all the guest stars there, I wanted to meet her the most. And I should be working on one of the two mentioned fics in this blog post, tonight. While I was at work last night, I finished mentally outlining the last of Chapter 1 of "Anything for Lady Rarity" and took some notes over my lunch break.

Though it still made me smile. But anyway...where do you think I go the idea for the title? Only, I like Nikki French's version of the song the best.

It was nice meeting the person behind Celestia. I even got to gush to her a little about how I get goosebumps every time I hear Celestia do the monologue during the intro of the Pilot. I think Nicole liked that. She called me her "faithful student" in the personalized greeting in the autographed picture I got from her. Like I said, that was the silver lining to that harrowing experience. I guess it was worth it after all. That and *dodges the incoming something* I got to meet Andrea Libman (Fluttershy & Pinkie Pie) and Tara Strong (Twilight). Though Tara seemed almost as out of it as I did. But then she had some fans getting like 5-20 signatures form her at a time. And they seemed to talk her ear off. I hardly knew what to say when I got my chance to see her. It was crazy!
