Update: New Fanfic Planned! · 3:00pm Jan 9th, 2015
Sorry for not posting anything new recently been quite busy over the holidays that I lost sight on “Mum’s the Word” with any hope when I find the time I’ll get back on it with TWO new chapters to come. Just so you know the fanfic is not on hiatus nor is it cancelled but is temporarily postponed right now so as soon as I can I will have the next chapters up really soon.
On a side note I do have plans for another fanfic in the works, right now it’s in the planning stages. I had this story idea for some time now and I’d like to get it made when I can. I can’t tell you what it’s about cause that would ruin the surprise. But here are a few things that I can say about it:
• It’s another Twilight & Apple Bloom story.
• It is not a prequel or sequel to “Mum’s the Word” it is a completely separate story.
• It’s a complete single chapter.
That’s all I can say about it at this time hopefully I’ll get to work on it after I do the next Two chapters on Mum’s the Word.

First of all, I find the news that you'll continue writing "Mum's the word" fantastic. The concept isn't really seen anywhere else and judging by the start you gave it has been very promising.
Second I fully welcome your one-shot idea and hope you can write without too many problems. Twilight&Applebloom is interesting concept that I wish to see explored more.
2713250 I agree when I first watched the episode "Bridle Gossip" I really enjoyed the scenes Twilight and Apple Bloom had in the episode and especially in "Call of the Cutie" in both of these episodes Twilight called Apple Bloom "sweetie" don't know why but I just fill like they were developing something between them in the show like a special bond of sisters or a mother/daughter thing. I find it a shame not to see that again in other episodes after those two. I'm hoping that in Season 5 or further there will be an episode focused entirely on Twilight and Apple Bloom I would love to see that happen or even in the MLP Friends Forever comic, hopefully it might just happen. Thanks for commenting, it's comments like these that help me get back into it even more I promise sooner or later "Mum's the Word" will continue again.
quick question will this story of Twilight and Apple Bloom depict them having a mother/daughter relationship, the reason why I ask that is because it's way too adorable
2745028 That is what I'm going for in this fanfic. Like I said in my previous comment ever since the Season 1 episode "Bridle Gossip" I had this impression that they were developing something between Twilight and Apple Bloom the way they interact with each other, especially when Twilight calls her "Sweetie" in this episode and "Call of the Cutie" where in that other episode she said it kinda sounded a little motherly to me, but I could be wrong. Still I really liked these two's interactions from Season 1 I think it was ashame it was never shown again in later episodes. I'm hoping for an episode with those two one day maybe in Season 5 or possibly somewhere down the line just have to wait and see.
2745722 I too feel the same way, since the very first episode, I can actually feel that those two having many of the same qualities. Their both leaders, they both were willing to give Zecora a chance, and a bunch of other stuff. By the way if you want to see more stories focused on Twilight and Apple Bloom I made a group just for them. If you'd like to check it out I would love that.

2792642 Don't want to give out too much away. But I can say what I have in mind will have some heartfelt moments. At the moment I will soon continue "Mum's the Word" hopefully in the next couple of weeks. However my new fanfic may not be ready until spring/summer but I will give an updated blog on when it gets started.
2792779 Can't wait, the cannon of Twilight and Apple Bloom having a mother/daughter relationship depends on as many as possible. Which is why I'm thinking of making one myself.
2793369 Sounds awesome I really like to see more of Twilight and Apple Bloom together there was definitely something there between them in Season 1. I hope for Season 5 there would be an episode focused for the two or at least a heartfelt moment in a episode something like Apple Bloom nuzzling up to Twilight over the loss of the library.
