1.) I am not dead. I have never BEEN dead.
I am undead, of course. Everyone knows that.
Who has even been saying I was dead?
For what reason would I be dead? What circumstances would bring this about? Besides, I have instructed my next of kin to inform all my internet friends about my untimely demise, should it occur. You all know what I look like, so it shouldn't be too hard to get in touch with me.
2.) I took a delicious holiday vacation. Furthermore, I will be traveling come February 25th or so. The date is not quite set in stone. It shall be a Grand Adventure.
3.) No lectures on politics or history today. I am tired. The regular service will continue soon. Yes, happy new year to you all. And to all, a good night.
4.) Yes, I did, in fact, read a good deal of books while I was away.
5.) Yes, I do, in fact, have ideas for new stories, but they won't be launched quite yet. Have to finish the ones already underway.
6.) I have been drawing everyday for the past few months, for those of you who were curious about my exploits in the field of visual arts..
7.) I took a cursory glance at my feed. Turns out that a few of my old friends decided to stop writing. A grim omen to be welcomed with, I trust, but then, the meat-grinder called FiMfiction makes short work of unwary wanderers. I hope they eventually decided to reverse their decisions. It's depressing, seeing people falling off like dead flies in the midst of our happy little home. Not a very pleasant or happy scene.
Over the years of my tenure here, I've seen a lot of people begin and end their careers - perhaps, a little too rapidly, for my tastes, but it is not my intention to force unwilling beings into dedicating time and effort for an undertaking they no longer quite enjoy. Everyone is free to do as they wish.

For the record I never thought you where dead maybe hiding under a rock somewhere but not dead.

All is well. I admit to some trepidation about my upcoming adventure, but aside from a few pre-travel jitters, I'm fine. Silly of me to even be concerned, really. I've crossed a few borders and left my home state and home country before. It's not like this is the first time.
I trust everything has gone as it should with you, as well?
