Sorry for the long wait. · 6:46am Jan 3rd, 2015
Sorry for making you all wait so much an update, it seems like life doesn't want me to bring this new chapter up. But don't worry, this chapter is coming along nicely. Since I've seen other authors do this before, here is a small part of what I have written:
He crouched down behind a tree, concealing himself the best he could, and waited for the sound to get closer. It didn’t take long for it to get close. Once it was close enough, he brought out his head the slightest bit to catch a glimpse of it. His eyes went wide at the sight of the creature that he was seeing.
His memories of the animal were vague, but even so he was sure that that was not the way they should look.[Sorry can't give away too many details. You'll have to wait. All of that, however was not what really confused him.
Its eyes were very big and an unnaturally curved form. The whites of the eye were clearly visible, and had deep REDACTED irises. Just looking at it in the eyes brought a chill to his spine. The resemblance to the human eye was too eery.
What also didn’t check out with his memory was its proportions. It was too short if he remembered correctly, its head maybe reaching his chest. Its legs were also strange. They were short and stubby, something that did not match the long and slender legs that his mind still remembered. All in all, it looked more... meatier... much, much meatier.
This hasn't been sent to my editor, so it might have errors. Anyways, thanks for being patient with me.
