Simultaneously able to type 94 wpm and still take five years to finish a story. If you're feeling generous, throw a ko-fi at me.

    So I'm ok...

-but I was in a car accident this evening.

I wasn't at fault, but my car is totaled, so that's going to throw a wrench into things logistically. At least it's almost summer, so no school trips for a bit.

I was wearing my seat belt, so the only thing hurt is my hands. That I use to type. And work.

Kinda wanted to get that old blog off the page, because I’m in a little better place now.

    Little Update

I think the mark of a good piece of media is one that hits differently depending on when you consume it. Like how when you watch A Goofy Movie and as a kid you sympathize with Max and then when you watch it older you see more of Goofy's perspective. Or like how when you watch Shrek 2 as an adult it's still funny, but different parts are funny for different reasons (the union part, for example).

    Mental Health and Such

I’ve often thought, ‘you know, I wish more people would talk about mental health stuff’.

Then I remembered: I’m people. :applejackunsure:

    Another Story Up!

Got another story done, EQG this time, squeaking in just before the contest deadline, again. Could probably use another pass or two, which is less than ideal, but it’s finished, so that’s still a

I write like.... · 7:52pm Jun 29th, 2012

This is a web page that apparently analyzes your writing style.
I tried a chapter of one unpublished story (working title: "Griffons and Magic and Nightmares, oh my!" ...yeah, it needs work, doesn't it? I was always bad with names...) and it gave me the result J R R Tolkien.

This, of course, made me feel really good about myself.
Then, I decided to try a chapter of Fluttershy the Hunter.
The result was Stephanie Meyer.

This, of course, killed all of my writing enthusiasm for the rest of the day.
But some faith in myself was restored when I tried a chapter of another work in progress, "Luna's Existential Crisis". I got J K Rowling.

So I'm not sure if I'm getting trolled here, and it's not actually analyzing my stuff; or if I'm just random enough that it thinks I write like three different people.
Either way, I'm sure I have something better and more productive to do. Right?

...right?

I wonder how they get these results and how reliable they are.

At least it's pretty consistent for me: After three tries, it always gave me "William Shakespeare", one of my greatest inspirations :pinkiehappy:

That was a weird site. For the first and third chapters of Special Talents I got Neil Gaiman, and for the second chapter I got Chuck Palahniuk. :rainbowhuh:
Yeah... it was weird.
