Well, "Where My Heart Lives" was certainly an exciting ride, wasn't it? It took me just over two years to piece together that beautiful story, and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with it.
That said, there *might* be a small addition to put on the end. Keep an eye out for a special bonus chapter, since is one more thing left to address, I feel.
AND THEN, there is a small tidbit of business to attend to: me asking you, the readers, a very pertinent and important question. A question that was presented to one of you already but something that I wanted to ask of the general populace:
If I were to write a sequel to WMHL and use it as a vehicle to show more development of Rarity and Octavia's relationship, what would you like to see?

I'm in tentative planning stages for a sequel, folks, and I'm honestly just curious as to what it is that you, my loyal readers, would want to see. Are there any blanks that you feel should be filled? Dark corners that you'd like to have light shed on? Reply here and let me know, and maybe I'll address them in the sequel!

I'm up for it, i haven't finish reading the story yet, but i like to see more unique Rarity couples, i think Rarity is the less pair up with anypony outside the mane six and spike.
You, good sir, already know my standing on this particular topic. That said, the PM I said I was going to send ended up being drunken ramblings and non sequiturs, and as such will be rewritten as soon as I figure out what those ramblings were on about.
What would I like to see in a possible sequel? SEXXXXXX....... Just kidding.
Tho I am curious about what could happen between Rarity and Octavia as they get to the more physical side of their relationship. Now I don't mean turning the sequel in a Mature story (tho I wouldn't object if you did
) or adding a clop scene (what did you think I would write here? 
......perv). What I mean is how they could possibly react once they start to get physical.
From what I understand (unless I've missed, misunderstood, or skipped something) Octavia has been in at least one relationship with a mare but this would be Rarity's first (and only?). There're quite a few reactions Rarity could have when it comes to the first time they kiss/make-out/make love and not all of them are positive. Rarity could be very nervous, to eager too please or uncomfortable. She could even enjoy the experience too much or not at all?
Maybe I am thinking about this too much (or too the wrong author
) but I think its an avenue worth exploring.

Rarity seems to be one of the ponies who gets saddled with a few ships that end up being the extent of her shipping versatility- Spike, Fluttershy and Celestia being some of the big one-on-one ships that I've seen- so I totally and completely agree with you: there are not enough good Rarity ships out there. Speaking as the writer of this fic I'd say that this is a new good one, but that's all up to the readers to decide, I'm afraid. XD

I certainly won't lie, I've considered most of the aspects of Rarity and Octavia's relationship, up to and including the more intimate side of things, and if and when I write a sequel some of those situations will certainly come up. As it stands at the moment I'm not much for writing clop (at least not any that I put up on the internet anyplace) but as for a hint of a more adult-flavored situation? That's not out of the question. >:3
