Need story ideas!

Okay, so a recent news thing by Wanderer_D has inspired me to get back into writing! One problem: I have no clue what to write! I'd love your ideas, oh faithful three followers! I'm hoping to write something dark and sinister, and I'll filter through your suggestions, so if it comes to mind, go ahead and post it!

EDIT: Any ideas will do. OCs, plot devices, events, general storyline, anything!

um, if you are into crossovers then you might consider giving them a potential one way ticket to the zone (s.t.a.l.k.e.r series)
i have been thinking about it myself, but i have never started it

if not then here is how i work. (don't work on very long fics)
1. take a random event in your life.
2. write it down (to make sure you remembet it)
3. go all out and be creative. change how stuf hapens, adapt it to the ponies personalities. ad something interresting.
4. ponify it completely.
5. pre reading, prof reding and that shit.

i used that method on a trip to a local WW2 bunker. i wrote a 5000word bloody war
