Biology and Physiology of Pegasi, Unicorns, Earth Ponies and their counterparts in Princess Lunas Guard, and other Creatures of course! · 6:25am Dec 27th, 2014
Hello to the entire My Little Pony fan base!
I know I am still new to Fimfiction so please bear with me Senpai's. Throughout my life I have been interested in animals and various creatures. The world of Equestria is one that I truly adore with it's plentiful wildlife. No more so than the many kinds of Equine who live there. This blog is dedicated to mine and possibly any others who want to learn how to properly write about the biology and physiology of the numerous kinds who live there. So to anyone willing to help teach me and others, even if its by posting diagrams, or sharing links to biology reports of actual Equines, you are more than welcome to post here.
This also includes Dragons, Manticores, all other manner of creature, and yes even Changelings. The creatures and the habitats they live in are also welcome to be debated and talked about here. The only thing I ask is to please be polite to anything posted on here. No answer is ever truly wrong and sometimes can even make us re-think about the thing we think is fact. So everypony please take those wonderful lessons of friendship to heart and no flaming or hating.
I also encourage debates, questions, etc, etc on this page and welcome them. This way everyone can learn about how the Pegasi wings truly work, or how a Unicorn's horn is made of keratin or bone. That way everyone can increase their descriptive writing and be able to make their stories even better and continue to help build upon the wonderful world that Mrs. Lauren Faust and her team have built for us to explore.
So please everypony and creature, post here.
Thank you all very much!
This thread should be of help.
I've only studied human physiology so I can't be certain that this is all correct, but the writer lived on a farm and raised and rode horses, so it may still be of help.
Thank you, that does look quite helpful.
