Updated Equestria Map · 3:59pm Oct 19th, 2015

So I'm sure many of us writers have always wondered; where in the world is this place? Well in the now available for purchase Art of Equestria Book (sold on Amazon) all those questions are finally answered. The following map below can be found posted on the Equestria Daily Site. Updated Equestria Map on Equestria Daily

As seen in the above picture, we finally get to see the areas that many of us have pondered at. Like who knew that Trottingham would wind up being on an Island of all things? Who thought Pinkie Pie's Rock Farm would be that freaking big?! All I can say dear readers and writers, is that this map now gives us the ability to make even better works of fandom wonder.

I know for certain that between this lovely piece of map, my other map that I got at the Renaissance Festival, and the map that I will be using in my Equestrian Wasteland: Zodiac Ruins fanfiction; My world will certainly be comprehensive and finally have a way to work around without accidentally misdirecting my characters! :rainbowlaugh:

Anyway, what are your takes on the new map compared to the old one? How are you future writers planning on incorporating this piece into your stories? To the older and far more experienced writers; how does this affect your own works that have been going on for a while now?

I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful comments!

p.s this map and many others like are not part of my own creation but instead are given credit to the wonderful artists of Hasbro, the Renaissance Festival Map Makers (who get permission to make them of course), and the wonderful artist unoservix on deviantart, whose map has been a huge help in making my world.

I don't know exactly how I came across this post but I am happy I did.

P.S I am going to bookmark the picture so I have a reference guide while plotting out my story just so I don't end up misdirecting my protagonist around Equestria. :raritywink:
