Fact: I am now the owner of a 3DS, along with Pokemon X. And maybe in the future, a copy of either Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire.
Fact: X + Y have this wonderful mechanic called the Friend Safari, whereby the more friends you have registered, the more plausibly special Pokemon you can go looking for. Each friend has a 'type' that they add to the Safari, and it's a psuedo-random system. Helps you find a lot of Pokemon you can't otherwise snag or would just be better with their hidden ability.
Fact: I am a modern-day hermit.
So I proffer to those who care my Friend Code, for use on your 3DS systems, as long as you leave yours here in return!

No, no you haven't. I know, because every time I enter in that code, my DS makes a pouty face at me and says it's not a valid code.
