Opportune

Yay, vehlek posted a new chapter of Rampant! Oh, shit, here's the other shoe.

Normally I'd get right to it, but allow me a preamble this time. Writing Rampant is fun for me; seeing you folks reading and enjoying is a joy to me, taking time out of your schedules or holding off on that thing you should really get back to but come on just one more chapter. Writing Rampant has been a boon to me, teaching me more about how maybe I should write and how I actually do write. Writing Rampant has been exciting for me, because apparently it excites other people when they read it. And this preamble is not me saying that I'm quitting Rampant.

However, of course however, I'm taking a break from Rampant. I'm at a point I need to move closer to what I want to do with my life, and writing pony fanfics actually has gotten me closer, but I have another project to write now. Like I said, Rampant is fun for me; I'll get back to it, though I admit by then y'all might just not have the energy to continue with me. I don't know when. I'll still be hanging around here, so I'm not taking a hiatus from the site, but I'm officially taking a hiatus from Rampant.

But cliffhangers! Oh, come on, every chapter of this arc and the next will have a cliffhanger. There's no good time for me to take a hiatus, so I'm taking it now. Thanks for being my readers. As always, I hope this isn't the last straw.
