Hm...
Right! So, those of you who've been waiting for an update to Filly Fluttershy Uprising... well, that up there sums it up pretty nicely, I'd say. After the last few weeks (or two months... or six months, who's counting?), progress on the next chapter, Celestia's Temple, is coming along. With about 8,500 words so far, I've gotten past a short prologue scene, the air battle top-down arcade shooter section, and I have two or three scenes left before I've finished the land battle section. Admittedly, this chapter is longer than I thought it would be, considering that this is one of the shortest chapters in the game. But to be fair, the chapter also has a ton of dialogue that you'd easily skip if playing the game.
If all goes to plan, I should have a rough draft of Chapter 20 done by the end of this month, at the earliest. However, my plan is to have the rewrite of Chapter 4 done at roughly the same time as I post Chapter 20 (probably a week earlier), so unfortunately I won't have a new chapter out for you that soon. I haven't started the rewrite yet, but after looking at the original, I can only describe it as amateurish. Yeah... I'm probably going to do a massive overhaul of that chapter. Fear not, Celestia's orbitar prank isn't going anywhere. Though looking back at it, The Reaper's Line of Sight is the only chapter in the game that attempts anything resembling a stealth section, and I might play more toward that in the rewrite (Metal Gear Shy? No, I could never make that work.).
So, to boil down an already short blog post, expect Chapter 20 and the Chapter 4 rewrite... eventually.
