You all know about the whole "unicorn master race" and stuff like that. There seems to be a bit of a unicorn bias in Equestian culture. Heck, there are groups like the "Unicorn supremacy group" that are all about the "unicorn master race," and the group also discriminates against earth ponies. Earth ponies seem to have it bad. What is DIscord's reform failed? Would it change the events of season four drastically? Considering his roles in S4, and his reformation (sorta) leading to Twilight becoming a princess, I think it would change a lot.

And also everyone hates Fluttershy for refusing to end the bloodshed.
If Discord didn't reform, then it would come down to headcanon really. If you believe that Celestia and Luna, together, can defeat him easily(perhaps with an anti-chaos spell Celestia developed in the thousand year peace period as a fail safe), then things would go pretty normally. Twilight would figure out how to get to the tree of harmony without him eventually, but it'd take longer and there'd have to be more tax dollars put into repairs. The whole Tirek business would probably actually go better, since Tirek wouldn't be able to grow super strong without Discord helping him, and Luna/Celestia/Twilight/Royal Guard would be able to track him down and defeat him when he's only drained a dozen or so ponies instead of what's probably at least hundreds in canon. Of course, the Box wouldn't be opened, but it won't be too long until Twilight finds a regular pony to share the magic of friendship with and be able to open it.(Question- what would the Box of Harmony do when opened if there's no actual problem like Tirek to deal with?)
Of course, if you believe that alicorns are essentially just demi-gods, and Discord is a god, like me, then the whole world will fall to his rule for one day to eternity, depending on how long it takes to find new Bearers of the Elements of Harmony, or a new ancient artifact that's capable of bringing down a god. Or for another god not revealed in canon who's able to defeat Discord to appear.
