Dark Side

The next chapter to Rarity's New Contacts is in the works, but first I would like to know something. Do you guys like Dark Side? I get the feeling he is the reason my stories get so many dislikes. He's not going anywhere anytime soon but I would still like to know your opinions.

I find Dark Side to be an alright character. He's the sarcastic joker of your stories, a character build that some people may enjoy, but others would find to be too unlikeable. I do, however, have a few other ideas as to why people may not like your work.
Let's start with the obvious one, grammar. I'm fine with there being errors so long as they don't make the story borderline unreadable unless you stop for a while to process what you just read. Some people take great offence to mistakes of the sort. I'm sure we're both aware of the ever present Grammar Police.
The second issue I think drives away readers would be how many plot threads you try to put into your stories, some of which are dropped entirely. Let's use Rarity's New Contacts as an example. So far, Pinkie has become a mentally unhinged version of Monkey D. Luffy with a blob of dark matter following her around, the bad guys recruited pony Dr. Wily, Rainbow can see through things, Celestia is sealed away, Luna is dead (both of which would draw a bit of rage on their own,) and Fluttershy has the most brutal ability from any anime this side of Attack on Titan. People tend to not enjoy reading things when there are too many plot points that come out of nowhere and decide to go right back to the same. Angle's death was brought about to boost up Fluttershy's Sharingan, but was quickly forgotten. Beyond the few minutes after that scene with her crying, I don't think his death was given proper closure.
I've yet to read the newest chapter, but I suggest from here on out to try to cut down on how many plot points you try using at once. After all, even the best juggler in the world would start straining after adding too many balls to his act.

Thats understandable. Ill fix up plot ppints next chapter. I think my newest one is ong my best though so ill give you that.
