Some pondering of clop and sidestory stuff · 6:20am Nov 28th, 2014
Now that I've finally gone in and done the clop chop on chapter eight so my one instance of attempting clop is no longer included, I strangely feel a bit better. It's by far not the focus of my story. I've slowly found it far more interesting to involve sexytimes without being direct about it. Horrifyingly embarrassing situations are another matter entirely, I've realized.
Still, words it is expected to see in clop, such as penis, cock, vagina, pussy, and all the various descriptives involved are simply never going to be found in my story in any relation to sexytimes. I've considered giving some poor stallion a rather painful injury to his wedding tackle (which brings to mind images of actual tackling to me every time I hear the words together), but beyond things like making my fellow males cringe I do not see the need to include such things.
The further into the story I get, the more I find myself hitting a better stride of what I'm trying to do as opposed to think I want to do. This will probably continue over time as more of the story is revealed.
Speaking of more of the story getting revealed, there are a number of things I'd like to do in side stories. Whether they follow along with the main plotline or just happen to be in the same world. The biggest problem right now is the lack of progress in the storyline. I have a number of bonus chapters to go through after the main storyline reaches it's completion. Events that stretch years beyond. Many years, in fact. Might eventually even rival the main story for the sheer number of various ideas floating around in my head.
The problem with that, however, is they all depend on some major happenings yet to come. I simply cannot spoil the main story and reveal details early. Can't do it! Not even who has foals with whom! Yes there will be! 
So really, I suppose it's going to be a while unless non-revealing side stories come to mind. I have one gradually putting itself together in my head currently that doesn't have to involve Applejack like it initially did. We'll see how it grows, be it tree, weed, or fungus.
