In a world where No Bio is Provided, one man will choose to waste your time by putting words in his Bio that have no bearing on him, or his content. These are his stories.

Right so lets try and pick up where we left off

First, thank you for those who came back. I deeply appreciate your patience with me.

That said, some good news and bad news.
Good news: New chapters of Boundary Point will be released within the next week or two. And I plan on continuing on with the story.

Reason for Cancelling Context · 6:13am Nov 23rd, 2014

So occasionally I'll get a email here and there asking why I cancelled the series and I feel that enough time has passed that I can go ahead and state things clearly.

During my initial write up of the story, the goal was to get a 2k~4k worded chapter a week out. Frequently this would be at odds with my schedule, which consists of full time work. In addition, I was a undergraduate in a STEM major (since then, graduated) so if I was not throwing my all into college, I would get poor grades on tests ect...

That being said, what began the cancellation of this story was my interaction with the only person who had a desire to work with me on this as a pre-reader/reviewer/editor. At the start, I constructed this story to create a dissonance between two time periods, one where Verde was growing accustom to her new living conditions and Verde dealing with what it means to live long term with a human.

The Editor did not like this what so ever. He came on board about Chapter Fourteen or so and instead of going over the week's chapter before release or commenting on what he felt was good about the chapter or poor about the chapter, he's primary focus was simply "Make this story linear at all costs." I tried to explain to him that the story was too far deep now to suddenly make such a change, but he kept pushing for this.

And as he kept pushing for this, my desire to continue writing died. So my plan was to let the entire situation cool down for a few months and come back, hoping that he would have dropped trying to make this story a linear story.

On 9/09/2013, I emailed him letting him know if it would be okay to go on Hiatus until roughly December.
On 9/23/2013, he responded to the email that it was fine and he had his own stuff to do
On 10/02/2013, He sent me an IM when I wasn't logged on talking to me as if I was online. Roughly speaking, he asked if we could continue working on this. Then he asks that I respond and then says he has his answer then.

I don't know what the deal was, but I did not read this until sometime Mid-December (as per the agreement in our emailed messages) and I know for a fact I was not online at the time of the IM.

After reading the full version of the IM, which went beyond what I stated above, my desire to continue the story in any way, shape, or form died and I just straight cancelled it. I decided not to start the story back up again, as I did not want to deal with any mud-slinging from the ex-editor of this story.

I want to apologize to the people who enjoyed the story and request that ether I continue or at least give it an ending. Honestly, while I want to pick up where I left off now that I have more free time, I just don't want to ever deal with a situation like what happened previously again, and I have simply not had any inspiration since then.

Further then that, I wish to deeply apologize to the people who have contacted me concerning this, even offering to become editors them selves just to see new content. It's not that I don't want to work with you on this, its just that I both, don't want to deal with the possible ramifications of angering the ex-editor by starting the story up again and I simply don't have any inspiration.

I see...:pinkiesad2:
oh well.. it was a good story while it lasted...:applecry:

Sad day...
For what it's worth, I really enjoyed your story's non linear progression. It was different, and though it was technically the same story I felt like I was reading two at the same time.

You gonna do anything else or are you done writing pony?

Post the IM he sent.
