Michael Bay doing a film about Benghazi? · 1:41am Nov 22nd, 2014

...seriously?

http://variety.com/2014/film/news/michael-bay-eyes-action-pic-13-hours-in-benghazi-for-paramount-1201331192/

He's...he's doing a film about Benghazi. Based off the book that tries to detail the the thirteen hours that-I mean...just...I mean-

...you all saw Pearl Harbor, right? Or at least the Nostalgia Critic's review? You know how THAT turned out.

...this is...just...I can't even....

WRONG. THIS IS WRONG. This is the wrong guy to do this. This is a man. A man SO arrogant and smug, that when Ben Affleck asked him on the set of Armageddon why it wouldn't be easier to teach astronauts how to drill than drillers to be astronauts, Bay told him to, his words, not mine, "shut the fuck up".

I...LOAAAAAATHE...you, Bay. ANY ounce of respect I had for you and your craft is now gone. To Hell with you. Honest. You drop the project right now if you have any goddamn decency.

On the bright side, those towers blowing up is going to look spectacular.

My only problem is that, well, explosions used to be this big thing. Something to emphasis huge action right the heck out of nowhere. It was meant to be a big deal when something exploded. Now thanks to people like Bay...they're EVERYWHERE. Films are just too saturated with explosions. They're like air. You don't even feel it anymore.

Then we should be numb to our witnessing of a dramatized terrorist attack on US soil, amirite? :ajsmug:

Awwwww. I liked his transformers. I loved the fourth one, though. It was extremely well done and developed compared to the other three.
