Stuff happened, I'm going to a therapist soon, haven't felt like writing anything, hamsters are eating all our brains, the toothpaste is watching us all.
If it seems that I'm not really in the game, what with updates not happening and me being inactive over long stretches of time, that's because I've been inactive and haven't updated any stories. Seems logical, right? I hope it does, because if not, I need to make less sense. Don't make me make less sense than I already do!
Just in case you're wondering, I'm not really writing a lot right now because of personal issues. I'm not going to discuss them here, but I've taken steps to get back on what I currently assume to be the right path. I'm still figuring out a lot of stuff, both IRL and for my writing. So that's a thing.
As for my writing on this account:
I intend to get back on track with My Baby Sister as soon as possible. I've mostly not written this story because the next chapter is the one that'll shake everything up, so I want it to be just right. I hope to get back on track with it before 2015 comes around. What will happen sooner to that is an update on the coverart. I'm not going into details, except that you should get hyped.
Sleepovers And Such hasn't been updated for an even longer time. I'm not going to lie that I'm really dissappointed in myself, because I had a good rhythm going with it. Truth be told, I got stuck thinking about where I want to go with this. The story is mostly about mundanity and how actually unexciting things can be very exciting from a child's perspective. As such I've come to a conclusion in how I want it to end and how the mood should be. I just need to replan the details of how I accomplish my goal and then I'll get back on it. However, I'll first write up five chapters before I start posting anything. You know, as a buffer.
I've also been promising one-shots, haven't I? I'm not going to lie when I say that I couldn't write the majority of them. The majority of my ideas felt too cheap to warrant actual stories and I'd rather write fewer meatier stories than more shorter works. I wanted to do a Flutterdash one and I've had an idea for that in the back of my head for a while now. So maybe I'll try to get that down.
I don't know. But I'm not dead. A slowpoke, definitely, but I'll start doing stuff when I get some peace of mind.

I'm sorry to hear you're apparently not feeling 100%. I hope things get better for you in time for the end of the year.
