    Back to TEAM BASS

Urgh. What a year already, eh?

I hate to be the bearer of sad and late news, but I must(and not choke while doing so) let you know that Monty Oum has passed on. He was in coma from an allergic reaction around a week ago.

Granted, to non-RT, RWBY, or RvB people, it doesn't sound like much.

Monty was only 33, married, and made his own show. No. He made his own universe.

Regarding Protecting Our Dreams and Dragonfire

    Why hello again!

I apologize for my dropping off Fimfiction, as I've been more invested in reading stories both here and elsewhere rather than actually working on my own stories.

In light of this, I've got both good news and bad news.

Why, is it really July already?

I do realize that currently it's been three months since Protecting Our Dreams got updated, yet I'm still surprised how it still brings people in, albeit not on a massive scale, which is fine for now.

    Insert Snazzy Title Here

Why hello there friendly person/human/possible equine being/alien that decided to visit my page! I welcome you, and many thanks for looking. I'm not 100% percent set up, but I am on my way to having my first story of hopefully several pony-related stories posted.

Regarding Protecting Our Dreams and Dragonfire · 3:57am Nov 11th, 2014

Why hello again!

I apologize for my dropping off Fimfiction, as I've been more invested in reading stories both here and elsewhere rather than actually working on my own stories.

In light of this, I've got both good news and bad news.

The good news, first, is that I'm going to be picking up both of my stories again, and there'll be updates, much moar RWBY hack and slash badassery, ponies, epic space conflicts, explosions, lasers, punching, bad humor, Yang making puns, Weiss giving icy stares, and Twilight being a bookworm Princess.

The bad news is while one of these stories is already on something of a roll, the other has barely started.

Let's face it, both of these stories are something of a inevitable train wreck in some form. The pacing in Protecting Our Dreams in nice until it suddenly decided to blitz it's way to the end in a horribly sloppy way, due to a panicking author-aka moi-and Dragonfire has decent pacing and plot, but still feels like tons missing it's frame of reference.

Or timeline. Whatever one calls it when a story feels out of place chronologically in regards to the overall plot.

So, regrettably, I must put both stories on Hiatus to retool them from the ground up.

However, I will give you a sample of what's to come.

PROTECTING OUR DREAMS-

Luna has recently found ponies' dreams under assault by a force she cannot repel on her own.

Enlisting Sunset Shimmer and the Mane 6 one by one, Luna finds the creatures are not of Equestrian origin, but rather from another world entirely, as for each pony she enlists to aid her, another pony enters to assist them in warding the evil creatures away.

Tracing the villainous nightmare creatures' magical signal back to their home world, Sunset, Luna, and the Mane 6 stumble into a whole new realm.

DRAGONFIRE-

Spike had always been Princess Twilight's most helpful assistant, bodyguard, pilot, and on the sparse occasion, dance partner.

But with each day becoming more and more routine and humdrum on Canter-Not 5, Spike wants a little excitement and action from the universe, not being bored cooped with the elected Princess Twilight.

So, fate as it were decides to draw him a royal flush. Legends speak of a powerful ark-cruiser that once brought Spike's ancestors to Canter-Not, carrying them across the long, dark, silent, reaches of space. It was foretold that only a dragon could unearth and command the ship, had he a crew willing to do so.

When Changelings invade Canter-Not 5, Spike is helpless to watch as Twilight is taken away by their horde, and the Equestrian Space Fleet routed in orbit.

All is lost, until Spike comes across THE CELESTIA, the legendary ark-cruiser of once presumed myth. Now, with a rag-tag assortment of help, it's up to Spike and his crew, and the help of two unlikely allies aboard the Celestia to route the Changelings and save Twilight.

The best way to simply describe this story is this:

MLP with FireFly and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel in space.
