Gonna be a little late with this one.

I'm working on a horror-ish Derpy Nightmare Night fic. It's gonna be late (obviously) because work took too much time for me to finish it in time for Halloween. It will probably post some time next week. It's going to be the second of the series to depart from my usual policy of going for the "Everyone" rating on these fics because I just could not find a way to play horror straight and keep it within those bounds.

I'm really not too bothered by this, though. I'm starting to see these Derpy fics as more Teen-rated material, anyway. I just can't write "for kids" without betraying myself intellectually. Don't worry, though; it's still the same character. Bumping it up to Teen does let me use a few more jokes and plot devices that I might leave on the shelf, otherwise, and that makes for a better story, in my opinion.

Eh, it's fanfic; who really cares?
