Behind the scenes: HEART OF STONE chapters twenty three/ twenty four · 5:21am Oct 31st, 2014
WARNING: somewhat random pontificating below, plus possible spoilers, kinda. Read at risk of your own sanity.
Chapter Twenty Three: Wet Lies, and Chapter Twenty Four: Shadowed Hearts were originally meant to be one chapter. I decided to split them up due to the fact that they both had very different feelings from one another, and they were also getting a little bit big for me to write. That being said I was able to add in a few things that I really wanted to focus on thanks to splitting them up. This is also one of the reasons that I have been adding chapters to this story more frequently.
I have spent the past few days really focusing on this story, and I ended up writing a lot. That means a lot of editing, but in the end I feel as though my writing skills have increased from it. I have put a lot of effort into these past two chapters, and finally gotten to a part of the story that I wanted to cover for a while now. The past, starting with hints about Maud's and whatever her secret involving Pinkie Pie might really entail. I will also be delving deeper into Trixie's. she still has a lot to learn, and a lot to do.
I love writing this story, the possibilities are endless. Writing is kinda like being in a car and driving down a long road, sometimes random things come across that road. sometimes my car gets hijacked by an awesome idea, and that awesome idea takes me places I never imagined.
You will see some interesting things in the coming chapters, some really sad, some really funny, a lot of cute, and maybe a few dark. One thing I love about this story above all else is the various emotions that have been poured into these chapters.
