So I was writing the next chapter for the Abduction of Luna, and after I had completed what I had wanted, I did a quick word count. 793.
Well, no big deal. I knew what I had was just the bones and I had to flesh-out and expand on almost every paragraph.
Second pass: 950
Third pass: 998
Hmmm. Starting to get worried. I haven't even broken a thousand words yet. Is this extremely important chapter going to be irritatingly brief?
Fourth pass: 1048
Fifth Pass: 1113 and I breathe a sigh of relief.
I know that high word counts do not equal high quality, but it can be a gauge on whether or not you need more detail.
But now I'm still wondering if this is enough for a stand alone chapter?
I have decided it is not. And so, I will not post what I have completed right now. I do wish that I had added it onto the last chapter. But too late for that.
