A Dark Knightmare: Update--A Question Pertaining to Chapter 3 · 2:01am Sep 22nd, 2014
I just wanted to let everyone know how the third chapter has been progressing, and it has been progressing. I've been working on it almost every night since my last blog post, but . . . well, to put it bluntly . . . this chapter has been kicking my ass. Hard.
Pictured: an ass kicking.
Chapter Three is proving to be the most single most difficult chapter that I've written thus far. It's also proving to be the longest. Which is why I've decided to ask you--the readers--a question: at time of writing this post, chapter three is a little over 9k in length. Now, the first half of the chapter is pretty polished by this point (it's the second half that's been giving me the majority of the problems). This means that I could:
A.) Cut chapter three in two--this would effectively halve my workload; instead of trying to polish off a 9k chapter, I'd only have polish off the first 4k or so, and then I would be able to publish it and get it out to all of you. Or,
B.) I could finish and publish chapter three as a whole. This would take a while longer, because of reasons already stated.
Let me know what you think!
The way I see it, it shouldn't increase your workload either way, but the choice is yours. You can put out half of the chapter early, or leave what's good alone and polish up the rest before posting the whole thing. Woo, bedtime. Is 30 that old, or is it just a parent thing?
B. Now I'm pretty flexible with this type of question, as in I could go either way easily. The reason I would pick 'B' then is because that's how it was written so even if it takes alittle while longer to publish it's okay.
Honestly I would pick B. Please take your time.![](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png)
I could go with A.
