I assure you there is a good reason I haven't posted any new updates in a while... I've been battling the demon Acedia! Anyway, it's not like I haven't tried to write more chapters of Immortal Entity, But every time I try to go back to writing, Acedia begins clawing at my flesh and I soon find that I have made no progress at all! Don't believe me? Here, I'll show you what I've written so far:
“Twilight!”
Twilight awoke to the voice of Rainbow Dash yelling in her ear.
“Wha- Rainbow Dash?”
“Come on, Twilight, we’re all waiting on you!”
Twilight bolted upright in bed, her memory suddenly flooding back to her.
“What time is it?” Twilight looked out her window, and saw that the sun had just come over the horizon. “It’s barely morning! Why so early?”
“We have to make it all the way to the badlands and back, don’t we?”
“I suppose you’re right no not my eyes! Have mercy Acedia! NOOOOOooooo!
And for those of you who think this is writer's block, It's not. It's a demon trying to claw out my heart. Heck, I all ready have most of the story already hashed out in my mind, as well as it's two squeals. That's right, were're going to have a trilogy like all the cool kids do! So instead of fruitlessly trying to continue writing Immortal Entity, I'm going to take a short break by writing something else. something light, jaunty, and funny. I'll probably be out there by the end of next week. If not, you'll know that Acedia has claimed me.
