A moment of silence for Hearthstone · 6:13am Sep 7th, 2014
I played for a good long while the game Hearthstone by Blizzard. However, a blight has run through it. A blight called Nexramas. Nexramas is the story mode of Hearthstone and can be enjoyed by all players. However, it has corrupted the game in my opinion. In literally every deck I play against you can find at least one Nexramas card's existance, always the same damned one. Not only that, but you will commonly find more, and those cards are in fact the most powerful residing in the deck. Some classes became increasingly destructive for less and less luck, something I had admired in Hearthstone. All because of the story mode. I honestly wouldn't care so much if it didn't feel like I was fighting such boring similar decks because of the obvious strategies shown to us through the game. Those classes not blessed with the better cards or cards to go with Nexramas cards have fallen because they cannot run the great and powerful strategies that now ruin the game. You can find enjoyment still, but no longer with literally any deck you wanted to make. The game has become stale and boring, similiar to Yu-Gi-Oh. So now, a moment of silence for what was once a great game.
I feel your pain, good sir. ~A duelist.
I have also felt the same piece of enjoyment being taken away from me. That cold touch of nothingness, and pointless activity. Receiving the almost looped void of the battle.-use to be Duelist, now an Assassin
