Unfortunately, I can't tell you because the story in question is unreleased [spoilers and all that]. However, what I can tell you is that it had to do with Sunset Shimmer.
With the established problems that Sunset has had ever with her actions in the first movie, I really think that she should be the main character in this movie. The three antagonists can go after her because she's from Equestria, she can be the one who saves the day and have everyone forgive and accept her, and she can get back together with Flash, in order to make the one line and no interaction between the two of them in the first movie make
moreany sense and put and end to FlashLight shipping.I know that some of the clips shown are just small snippets and not actually in the movie, but I don't think Twilight should be in this. The reason for her to be sent back would be completely forced and make no sense, everyone including her old friends and the new villains would target her, and Flash would go straight for her and ignore Sunset completely. Instead of Sunset saving the day and being forgiven, it would be changed to Twilight saving the day and then her just telling everyone else to forgive her because she's her friend. This is a terrible message, and it already was in the first movie and it didn't work.
Even if Twilight does come back and Sunset is the one that helps them and it's only because of her that they win, I still think that it would be too forced.
So in summation, I don't want Twilight to be in this movie. I think Sunset should be the main character and have the movie follow her development. It would make for a way more interesting movie.
