This has been...unexpected.
When I first submitted this story, I thought I'd be lucky to get 2 or 3 comments and about 10 likes on it. I had the idea for the world that 'Like Flying' takes place in years ago, but this is the first time that I actually wrote down a story in the setting, and the response has been wholly unexpected and completely welcome.
As of now, my story has garnered sufficient attention to make the featured box (something I NEVER thought I would do) has 102 likes, 55 comments, 630 views, 92 favorites for the story itself, and 180 favorites for me as a writer.....
And it's been less than 24 hours since I uploaded it.
This reception has been AMAZING, you guys, and I want to thank everyone who's read my story, commented, liked, watched,Favorited, or breathed in the last day; I couldn't have made it here without you guys.
Perhaps most meaningfully (though not to detract from the significance of my readers), I'd like to thank Wolfe and WindSilver for his support and assistance in editing, uploading, and supporting my writing.
Now, something extra.....
I told Windsilver that if my story topped 100 likes, I'd begin writing another story in the same world.
It did.
So, I'm here to tell you that 'Like Flying' will have a sequel, of sorts. It may not directly involve A.J and RD this time, but it WILL take place in the same world. I'm completely open to ideas and suggestions, or requests of character dynamics and such. Heck, I might even try to work your headcanon into the story if you ask nicely.
To reiterate, I will be writing another story in the 'Like Flying' universe. However, the plot is not yet set in stone. If you've got ideas or requests or questions or anything, feel free to message me.
I so look forward to writing this next story.

I think I'll do a few more one-shots, but a multi-chapter is not out of the question.

I think Pinkie would be interesting to have around. She was in the first story but I think she is mysterious enough that it will be interesting to see her again perhaps to learn more. For instance while she is a member of the earth tribe her powers are probably very different from nearly everybody else. In that case a story with Twilight would probably work best either as a prequel where we see why Twilight refuses to study Pinkie (might be close to that episode but you could make the why so very different as instead of straight slap stick perhaps the reason is much more mysterious or even Cthuluesque sort of deal where looking too deep can cause madness potentially where perhaps Pinkie did and that is how she got her powers...or not) or a new story where Twilight for some reason has to look again no matter what the cost.
Fluttershy and Twilight should just own Dash at parkour. Twilight has to have to control over her body being the equivalent to an alicorn in that world. Also I am sincerely interested in this 'verse. i love to more of it.
2408500 I'll definitely have parkour in one of my stories again soon, but I think the next ones will have much less if any. Possibly a brief description, nothing as intensive as 'Like Flying'. That being said, I'm definitely going to have some epic parkour in other stories again :)
