To those who still frequent this site, or even bother to see the post of a long dead contributor, I ask for your forgiveness.

Chapter 8 is live at long last

Sorry for the long delay from announcing chapter 8 and actually posting it. My pre-reader was a bit busy with IRL stuff, and I didn't want to move on without his looking over. I also was a day or two slow about actually going in and making corrections from mistakes he pointed out as well. But regardless, go read the chapter you've been dying to see!

    This is not a dream

I have returned. Writing continues in earnest and I'm looking forward to finally finishing a couple projects before slinking into obscurity (Who am I kidding, I am obscure as far as authors go) or not and hanging around here with actual activity every now and again.

Big news, everyone! AKA old news I forgot to disclose until now

I may have forgotten to share with you all something rather significant. I know I'm usually busy being dead, in terms of activity on this website, but I am indeed still writing and kicking. The last few weeks have been rather hectic, well, more hectic than usual. A few weeks ago, I left the employ of Cargill on my own terms.

You know you've been around the internet for a long time when... · 9:20am Aug 27th, 2014

1. You know what dial-up is, and remember having it and the sound it made.

2. Rule 34 and other various rules don't even make you bat an eye.

3. You remember Youtube's old rating system.

4. You can separate the classic memes from the newer ones without any effort.

5. You remember a really funny video and go to look it up again, only to find it was uploaded four or more years ago.

6. U has gud gr4mmire and can txt. (You can also decipher the most poorly worded, grammatically incorrect, and misspelt comments and responses ever seen)

7. You have a list of forums or websites that you used to frequent before they were shut down.

8. Windows 95

9. NSFW content is almost always in your recent browsing history.

10. You remember a time when you thought what is considered to be unbearably slow for internet speed today, was blazing fast back then.

Whipper snappers these day think that have it tough. Back in my day, we had magazines and cable TV to masterbate to, and we were content! Nowadays, theres a porn site for every fetish, and websites to compile those websites together, and websites to compile those together! Don't even get me started on e621! Thats a cluster fuck of porportions I don't even want to talk about!

Now I'm thinking about the 50/50 subreddit.

Ever seen a man get his head cut off with a chainsaw as a form of execution? I have. As a gif to boot.

Who hasn't?

I just came up with the blog on a tired whim, when I was thinking about how Youtube used to look and stuff. Don't quite know how.

2405963 Meh.

Also... saw what a mans hand looks like when its been skinned. That along with someones face and genitals. I've seen some shit.

2407407 You should talk to my dad. He has stories where he helped his father and police officers move bodies at crash scenes. He has also seen some shit.

Oh my goodness. I remember Dial Up and its pestering sound. When my parents had a desktop. We had no internet. So all I did was fiddle around with the wallpapers and what would appear when the desktop went to sleep mode. I remember a 3D maze, water droplet affect, a 3D shape that would change colors and invert itself and all kinds of stuff. I also remember playing minesweeper a lot back then. Still don't understand the game.
Classic youtube. Where to start. I remember seeing those classic tutorials where people would use notepad to communicate with the viewer. Music like this would play in the background too.

I used to watch scary claymations and lego animations back then. What a nostalgia ride you gave me just now. 5 star rating. When Youtube finally settles in with wide screen and left the old style of boxed videos. Watching ghost videos. In fact. These are one of the very first videos that I have watched.
