A Long Overdue Update & Thanks · 6:45pm Aug 15th, 2014
Howdy folks, it's been... well, it's been awhile, too long really since I updated everyone on how things were going. Figured I'd go ahead and drop a few words to let everyone know how things are going.
To begin with, the medication that I got on has been helping out, although it's taken awhile to really start showing any overall improvements. I have lost a little over 10 pounds in the last month as well, so that's helped my overall mood and attitude improve. I'm still an asshole, just not quite as much of one now. I'm hoping things continue to improve as I keep moving forward.
This leads into writing. I haven't even opened a document in... so long I honestly cannot remember without going to look at whatever story I last updated. The good news here is that I am writing today, once I reread all of the source material of the story I plan to progress in. I might end up simply focusing on one story at a time, try to eliminate some of these incomplete stories down to a more manageable level. I don't have much of a drive for writing, but I'm trying to find it again.
Also, in other news, I finally have a story with 1,000+ upvotes to its name that isn't "Male turned Mare exploiting 1,001 cliches and the mature and sex tag written and uploaded as a complete joke." My first story, the TwiLuna Becoming One With the Night, has broken that threshold as well. While the entire story really does need a rewrite, it's a proud accomplishment to me, made possible by you all, the readers. I want to take a moment to acknowledge just how much it means to me that so many of you are sticking around for so long, even though I haven't written anything in months, and I want to thank each and every one of you. So, thanks, and hopefully I can start updating story X or Y soon and get the ball moving again.
Luckily, I'm not completely out of shape. I know people's opinion on RPs (Role-playing) are varied, and I have been pretty deep in them, working on keeping some of my writing skills sharp-ish. They really make you think on your feet as you are not the only one writing the story, and so you have to constantly adjust while remaining within the character that you have established to try and maintain control, or lead events where you want them to go. So, hopefully when I start writing here in an hour or two, it won't be total slop.

I'm looking forward to new updates to stories but please don't feel rushed on our accounts. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would rather read a new chapter when it's finished than a rushed, so-so one.
